Introduction

Creative tasks is a blog where you can find challenging tasks to inspire your creativity. If you perform a task, you can present the result on your own blog. When you do so, please trackback to the original post, so that the readers at CreativeTasks.com will find your solution to that particular task.

To trackback, copy the trackback link from the task post on creativetasks.com and put it in your trackback field in your blog editor (assuming you have one - if not, you can post a comment leaving the post url as your web address).

If you’ve come up with a task yourself you are welcome to post to the site. However, we require that you’ve posted the solution to atleast one task before posting a task yourself.

You don’t have to register in order to do the tasks or to trackback to a task post, though we do encourage you to do so. As a Creative task participant/member you will get a link to your blog on CreativeTasks.com. And registering is required if you want to post tasks yourself.

How to register

In order to become a member, click on the Register link.

You’ll be taken to a form where you can pick a username and enter your email address. Please provide a valid email address. It won’t be shown on the site and we won’t spam you - promise!

A password is then sent to the email address you provided. Use it together with your login name to login to the blog.

Okay, so I’m a member. Then what?

Once you’ve become a member, log in to the blog. You’ll be taken to the Your Profile and Personal Options page. Please fill out this information, including a short introduction to who you are in the About yourself field. If you want a link to your blog, don’t forget to fill out the Website field.

How to post a task

In order to post a task you need to have come up with atleast one solution to a previous task. When you have, please send an email to blog@creativetasks.com, telling us that you have qualified for posting status, and your member account will be upgraded. Don’t forget to specify your username.

That’s it! Now you can pick a task and get at it.
